Smooth moves

Holidays? Unfortunately, all that's left are the distant yet oh so fond memories of all the chocolate and delicious food we pigged out on over the long weekend.  But fear not, we have a smoothie bowl recipe packed full of all the good stuff to get you back on track and feeling fine!

The great thing about a smoothie bowl is that you can can swap and change ingredients to suit your tastes, allergies or simply what you have in the house.  There are no rules and you can be as creative or simple as you like.

We had the following in the pantry:

  • Frozen blueberries
  • Greek yoghurt
  • Banana
  • Coconut
  • Chia seeds
  • Cashews

Once you have all your ingredients cut up and ready all you have to do is follow these simple steps.

1. Blend your frozen berries/fruit and yoghurt until it has a smooth but thick consistency so that your toppings won't fall through.  For a dairy free version, replace the youghurt with a banana and a splash of coconut water.

2. Pour your base into a bowl.

3. Cut up your toppings and place on in lines or alternatively you can go for a more haphazard approach and just mix and drop on top.

4. That's it, just sit and enjoy!

We promise you it won't last long.
