UPCYCLED T-SHIRT BAG

With the plastic bag ban in supermarkets in most states now and the beginning of Plastic Free July, we thought it was time to get a little thrifty with some basic cotton tee shirts that were no longer getting used. This simple DIY is also a great school holiday project.

YOU WILL NEED: 

Cotton t-shirts

Scissors

Sewing machine or cotton and thread

STEP ONE

Lay t-shirt down on a flay surface and carefully cut sleeves off on the inside of the seam.

STEP TWO

Cut a rounded shape around the neckline.

STEP THREE

Turn t-shirt inside out and sew along the inside of the hemline.

STEP FOUR

Turn your creation in the right way and fill to your hearts content.
